Another poll has come and gone, I think I let this poll run for a bit longer this time. As a result we had a total of 36 votes, so thankyou to everyone who took that extra few seconds to place their vote.
The results were quite interesting:
$0-30 was the winner of the poll with 58% of the voters making this amount per month.
$31-100 was the next best with 17% of voters earning this figure.
Suprisingly $1000+ was in 3rd place with 14% of the voters managing to get this size check per month.
Only a few people voted for the figures in between, but what we can see is a huge gap between the main voted amounts. These statistics really tell me that most people who place Adsense ads on their blogs or websites aren’t really likely to be able to make a living off them. Maybe a key factor in this poll was how each of the people had customized and optimized their Adsense adverts, because with experience, this definitely has an effect on CTR rates and percentages.
I know that we cannot make any conclusive answers to the question, mainly because out of these voters, I don’t know how much traffic or visitors each of these sites are getting per day. For example, a person who earns $0-30 may be only getting between 10 and 20 unique visitors per day, and so obviously they are not going to get a whole load of clicks. On the other hand, a person who has 1000+ uniques per day to his blog should definitely be making at least $500+ per month.
As a result, my next poll asks the question: How Many Unique Visitors Do You Get To Your Site Per Day? Hopefully, roughly the same people who voted for the Adsense Poll, will vote for this traffic poll, so that we can get a direct correlation between the two statistics, which I will make into a graph for easier viewing.

I think people who are beginning to get into entrepreneurship should look into reading more blogs regularly for information and work on SEO information.
It seems as if people nowadays, especially kids learn about their business info from one book or one blog and stop learning after a month. Succeding in this modern world has become quite easy if you work hard, but that hard work needs to continue.
I’m very surprised at the low numbers of money the publishers get.

Yeah, I agree that SEO is a must learn tool and something that should be focused upon more as the internet expands and the competition of sites increases.
And you’re right, knowledge should be built up over a period of time. I try and read a lot of blogs everyday in my field so as to build up information and to use this as an advantage.
The numbers I have published may not be 100% conclusive, but I think it just goes to show how many people think they can make a lot off Adsense, but are unable to grow. In my opinion, diversifying income through text ads and affiliates is the key to income success.

[...] So here we are. I’ve added a little more time to this current poll to make sure that I had roughly the same number of voters as with the “How Much Do You Make With Adsense” poll. So the results are in - and I think they have produced some very conclusive results. [...]
