Blog MastermindSo the big wait for Yaro and his BlogMastermind program is finally over and he’s geared up all his affiliates ready for promotion (me being one of them). As mentioned, this is the first proper product that I am affiliating - I just think that Yaro is such an ideal man for the job having got first hand experience with E-J.com and SBB.com - both sites which earn him around $5000 per month in different income streams. And I’m in his blogroll on the front page ;)

Check out the signup page now for the lo-down. Now, whilst this does appear as a traditional long sales page, I’m very impressed. Yaro’s managed to break it down into relevant subtitles so as to attract the visitor and to keep them reading. My favourite part of the page was where Yaro showed the breakdown in his income. The best was the screenshot from TLA, where you can see that he earned $723 from them alone over 3 blogs - amazing stuff.

As a Blog Mastermind member, you’ll learn from cutting-edge, easy to follow:

  • Internet based e-lessons
  • Members-Only resources area
  • Step-by-Step training videos
  • Informative and eye-opening audios
  • Dozens of helpful time-saving links
  • Real-life case studies
  • And…regular, ongoing personal contact with me as your mentor with the freedom to ask me your hardest questions.
  • Not just a bunch of theory. You’ll get an in-the-trenches, easy-to-follow and apply proven system so you can quickly overcome any challenges or sticking points you encounter along the way.

I won’t go into a full-blown review as I myself am not a participant, but if any of you guys are, then please post your comments on the program or email me and I’ll get a review up. Here’s to Yaro and his success - I’m sure he’ll get a lot of signups anyway - good luck dude!

EDIT: I forgot to add that there’s a 7 day early bird special whereby you can save $30 off the normal price for as long as you’re a member! So membership is now $47/month. For a little insight into the members’ area and Yaro’s imminent success within 24 hours already, check out this video.

I am a little surprised that you find the text-link-ads earnings so impressive.

I currently earn an average of $400 a month from them with the potential for more, if I could sell my ads out.

The other earnings are interesting though. I’m surprised he belongs to so many affiliate programs - only making a small amount on each. It’s certainly interesting to read so thanks for pointing it out.

    hey,Adnan,
why you don’t hide your affiliate links,
    just like text link ads?

Hey Ben - just want to say welcome to Blogtrepreneur - I think it’s the first time I’ve seen you around here. And congratulations on a fantastic PR7 site - that’s amazing. How long did it take to reach that level?

I suppose you’re right, although I earn around $200 and that’s a lot of money - but then I should aim higher right ;)

No problem for pointing out - would love to talk to ya more, so shoot me an email at adnan278 [at] gmail (dot) com.

Hey Wallace - great question and one which I should really address - I’ve always been too lazy to cloak affiliate links, but all the big dogs do it, so maybe I’m losing out!

    Thanks for pointing it out.

You should always aim higher - nothing wrong with that :)

It took a while to get to a PR of 7. The big jump happened when I released a wordpress theme which went on to become one of the most popular themes on wordpress.com. That helped a lot.

Personally I don’t like hiding affiliate links. To me it feels dirty. I seem to remember reading somewhere that legally you have to disclose affiliate links as well… but I may have made that up.

Bloggers don’t necessarily ‘hide’ affiliate links. I use subdomain redirects because I can’t remember my links but I can remember putting ‘textlinkads’ as the subdomain. I also try and remember a note in the title attribute of the link.

But honestly, does it really matter? If you’re going to sign up to something wouldn’t you rather make the person who presented you the link a bit of extra cash or bonus? I would.

Ben: There’s no legal requirement to disclose affiliate links that I’m aware of, but some programmes will insist that you disclose your affiliation (e.g. PayPerPost.com). The only reason I’d ever cloak links though is that it makes them shorter (if you look at the links Amazon.co.uk gives us you’ll see the problem!) and easier to remember when you’re composing a post. I guess you could argue that it removes some transparency from the site though - some people care about this, most don’t (in my experience).
