Glowing blogLOUDER Reviews

Blog Consulting

Around a month ago, I kicked off a competition to celebrate the launch of blogLOUDER - my own Blog Consulting company. The contest lasted for a couple of days and the response was fantastic - altogether there were 68 unique entrants who posted 112 entries altogether. The final winners of the Consulting time were April, Ellie and Sue.

I managed to have a chat with all three lovely folks on Instant Messenger. As most of you probably know, I prefer using Instant Message services, as they are more informal, easy to send links and material through, and easy to store for later reading.

Whilst I had already managed to obtain several great testimonials from previous users of my services, I also wanted each of the Winners to give me a short review, so that I could build on any negatives or problems they had with the service and so that I could ensure that each of my customers left the conversation feeling happy with blogLOUDER and reenergised.

Sue from Sueblimely posted the first review of her 1 hour Consultation. Here’s a short snippet of what she had to say:

I was pleased with the results of the consultation. Adnan really does knows a lot about blogging. He speaks from personal experience and was able to fill in some gaps for me, especially with regard to SEO, blog promotion, increasing readership and RSS subscriptions. The consultation was tailored well to the requirements of this blog. Although I have done a lot of research, the specific recommendations helped me understand more clearly what I needed to do myself…

…Thanks Adnan and good luck with your venture. I reckon your friendliness and helpfulness have been a big factor in your own success. It was really good to have a long chat with a fellow blogger too. Being amongst non-blogging family and friends I thoroughly enjoyed having the chance to do so.

Sue also goes indepth to talk about the aspects we covered in the talk, so you can see what you’ll be getting for your money.

Next in the review line was Ellie from ThePinkC - here’s her fantastic review of the 30 minute consultation:

The advice I received during my blog consulting was invaluable. I have a more clear idea about what direction to take my site and how to improve my chances of becoming a popular online destination! There were a few things that I’m not 100% sold on, so I will sign up for more consulting in the future and discuss them with Adnan.

After my experience with blogLOUDER, I can truly say that it is an investment worth making, if you are interested in becoming a better blogger. I am definitely going to sign up for more consulting in the future, as I implement some of the changes Adnan proposed and I begin working on restrengthening my site’s brand.

I wasn’t able to get in touch with April - but after the conversation she said that she thoroughly enjoyed the session. If you’re reading this April, shoot me an email, and I’ll get your testimonial up ASAP.

In the meantime, I’ve already had people ordering reviews and Consultations, so have been very impressed with the results. I hope these 2 reviews have helped to break the ice and to put away those skeptical voices that we all have lurking in our minds. As always, please feel free to email me at any time - even just for a friendly wave, if you have any niggling doubts, queries or questions about blogLOUDER.

If you thought this post was good, you haven't seen anything! Why not:

Looks like you have a great service here. There are so many up and coming bloggers that are struggling and need some advice.

    Continue the great work Adnan!

That is great news! You are so smart to have gotten testimonials! Testimonials are so powerful yet most people (including myself) don’t ask for them… I’ve got to add this to my ‘to do’ list.

What an awesome service you are providing!

Thanks Thomas, Chris and Christine. It really means a lot when I receive great comments from my blog readers. The problem with blogLOUDER, is that I could do a lot more in the marketing department. I just feel that my time is too limited - that coupled with bouts of unproductivity means that I can’t progress as quickly as I’d like to.

And @ Christine - yeah Testimonials are great. I would like to incorporate some video testimonials along the line, but text performs well for me at the moment.

An interesting idea. I’ve been running my blog for 23 days and managed to get 70-80 visitors/day and 72 RSS subscribers. I’m starting to hit the edge of my knowledge though - I’m running out of ideas to continue to push it :(

Adnan, you mentioned your “new consulting company”, but is it a company - even if it isn’t registered? Just interested to know…

  • 7 adnan // Sep 25, 2007 at 5:36 pm

Hey Danny - thanks buddy - congrats on the success of BlogsForMoney so far - I’ve got in touch with you by email to help you sort the rut out, hope to see you on IM ;)

@ Stuart - erm legally, I’m most probably not a company. However I like referring to blogLOUDER as one. A “business” would probably be a more appropriate term. Who knows, in the future blogLOUDER may become a “company”!

  • 8 Brian // Sep 25, 2007 at 8:38 pm

I think “company” is legally fair — it just implies that you’re a business enterprise.

“Corporation,” on the other hand, is off-limits to those who have not legally incorporated.

Just my perspective… I could be wrong. Anyway, great work on the service Adnan. I’ll probably use it before long for my personal blog. Hit a road block recently that I’m sure you could help me push through.

    Keep up the great work!

Great news on the success Adnan, hope it continues to grow for you.

As to the debate on using company, I’ve seen a few people in the past really get uptight over non companies calling themselves a company. I used to call myself a company but in light of all that and figuring that there is a major difference, I switched to calling myself a business (until I get around to registering as a company!)

  • 10 adnan // Sep 26, 2007 at 5:16 pm

Thanks for the insight Brian - I dont really know the proper definitions normally and legally of a company, so I’m not able to really comment myself without doing research, so thanks for helping me out with the info. Sure would love to help you Brian - you know where to find me ;)

Cheers Sarah. Hmm yeah I think I’ll keep to referring to myself as a business for the time being. Hehe yeah business sounds pretty cool anyway, even though company makes it sounds as if you’re a massive corporation. Keep us posted if you do decide to become Ltd.!

[...] Adnan of Blogtrepreneur.com blogs for a different reason. “I blog in order to build relationships with fascinating people who share similar interests and characteristics to me… A blog can be a great way to build these relations as it’s primarily a form of conversation between me and my readers.” Adnan also blogs “to build Blogtrepreneur into a base where I can launch successful websites and products from in the future.” In fact, Adnan has used his blog to launch a blog evaluation service called blogLOUDER. Adnan used his blog to launch blogLOUDER and since then, blogLOUDER has done remarkably well. [...]
