OIOPublisher Lite: Free Blog Ad Management

A few weeks ago, I wrote a full sponsored review of OIOPublisher, created by fellow Brit Simon Emery. In short, the Wordpress plugin is all about easy management of private advertising. I’ve got it installed here at Blogtrepreneur and it has worked like a charm and has really saved me some precious time.

What I really wanted to bring to the fore was a new addition to OIOPublisher for those that don’t want to pay the small fee of $37. Simon has just introduced OIOPublisher Lite - and has let me have the exclusive. I’m not being paid, I’m just able to use my affiliate link.

The above screenshot details what you can expect when you get the free download of the plugin. Whilst you won’t be able to manage private banner ads and inline image/RSS ads, you will still have the amazing benefit of having a managed text link and private review sections.

Believe me, these have knocked off hours of my time in uploading images, adding the code into my theme, emailing to and fro with advertisers and collecting payment from them on a monthly basis. I’m sure most of my readers are part-time bloggers and business-owners and so could do with all the help they get in being the most productive with their time.

Again, installation of the plugin is incredibly easy. Simply download the free files, and upload them to your Wordpress blog’s plugin directory. Then activate the plugin and head over to your new “Business” section. Here you can manage your text links and private reviews - and customise to your heart’s content. PepperJam Ads Widget: Helping You Earn Affiliate Cash

Ever since I posted my review of PepperJam Affiliate Network, I’ve heard a lot of great things about Kris Jones’ company. I touched on PepperJam Network’s new widget in the review, but spent more time on the PPC side of things. In short, this widget on the surface seems like an equivalent to Adsense, however if you do a bit more digging, you’ll find out that instead of being paid “per click” with Google, you still get paid affiliate commissions depending on what product you want to promote.

Whilst this may sound a little complicated to the inexperienced monetizer, it actually is very easy to setup and integrate this widget into your blog or website so it can start earning you more money. In order to simplify things even further - and through the clever promotional use of multimedia - Kris and the team have created a video showing you exactly how to use and customise the PepperJam Ads Widget:

The thing that really separates this widget from all the others out there, is that you get to choose the adverts that will appear to your readers. As a result, you can introduce more defined targeting and this will hopefully generate even more affiliate commissions and revenues for you.

In order to really show you how easy it is to setup such an affiliate widget, I decided to make one of my own. Unfortunately due to problems embedding Javascript into blog posts in Wordpress, I’ve had to take a screenshot - hopefully that will still suffice for you guys!

If you havn’t already signed up as an affiliate, I would really recommend that you head on over to the site, create an account and start playing around with the campaigns. From what I’ve learnt on various blogs and forums, the only way you can really start to make good money from affiliate marketing is through constant trial and error - so let’s get cracking!

It’s been a long time since I’ve written a Blogtreprelinking post, and to be quite honest, I’ve missed showing some linklove to those bloggers who have been writing great content week in, week out. Here’s what I’ve enjoyed reading over the past week and more:

• Skellie writes about the Top 5 Tips for Success in a Crowded Niche.
• Fellow UK Blogger David Airey has launched a very colourful, new blog called Logo Design Love.
• For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been following Mark’s journey to become a PPC Rockstar. Having just bought Guitar Hero 3, I too want to get involved in this - and will certainly put the pedal to the metal in the next few days.
• Paul from UberAffiliate just wrote an amazing Case Study detailing how he setup a PPC campaign on Diet Pills. This guy makes 6 figures a month, so you definitely want to listen to what he has to say!
• Yaro wrote a great post called Understanding Affiliate Marketing From The Perspective Of A Blogger - as you can probably tell, I love learning about affiliate marketing, especially through the different mediums, so this was another post that appealed to me.
• My good online pal Nate Whitehill recently celebrated his 1 year Blogiversary. I’m coming up to my 2nd, and I can’t believe how quickly this time has passed.
