In a few weeks time, Blogtrepreneur will be marking its 2nd birthday online. What better way to prepare for this Birthday than to announce that we have officially hit and passed 1000 RSS subscribers!
I’ve waited a week to post this (and I’m sure that the regular visitors will have noticed already), however I wanted to make sure that I could go past the 1k mark so that the number wouldn’t drop back down again due to standard Feedburner fluctuations.

As you can see from the graph above, it’s been a rocky ride with several upswings and periods of stagnation. However, there has been month on month growth for the most part, and this has helped to keep the site expanding at a steady pace.
So this is just a quick post to thank you for your support, whether you’ve been following my blog since the early days, or whether you only started reading yesterday. I need as many people as possible to help me break more goals in 2008.
If you havn’t already, subscribe to my RSS feed for the latest updates, or you could subscribe via email using that orange area to the top right of the homepage.
Onwards and upwards!

CONGRATS! I had to laugh when I read that you waited a week to report just in case the Feedburner fluxes got you. Any feedburner blogger knows what that is like.

Congrats! Looks like you did some pretty decent marketing in April 07. I’m aiming to reach 1,000 too, eventually….
@ Kenny, have a contest or something, or give away free stuff only to your RSSers

Kenney: the number one way to keep a continual increase in RSS subscribers is to provide fresh new content daily if possible. This will not only help in attracting subscribers, but will look great in search engines like Google.
Nithin: as above, and I think that it would make a good topic for a post in its own right!
@ Jason: thanks for your comment. There were a number of sizeable spikes. The one after April came when Feedburner announced that they were tracking Google Reader subscribers too!

Thanks a lot Matt - means a lot that you’re still following after 2 years. I still owe a lot of my success to you (and your help in getting me transferred to Wordpress).
And thanks too Tibi, and for the linklove.

Congrats! Hitting 4 figures is an awesome milestone.

Thanks for the kind words Adnan but I can hardly take any credit for your success. It was your drive and dedication that got this blog going…all I did was assist with your move from blogger to Wordpress.

Thanks for your thanks Caroline! Yeah it felt good, and I hope 2k will be a lot easier!
@ Matt: no worries man - and I still stick to what I said. You’ve been a great online pal, and I still have that email thread that I never returned back to you from like 2 years ago (you’ll know what I mean
). Hopefully one of these days I’ll sit down and write you a nice response.

@Adnan, can’t believe you still remember that email…I had actually thought about it the other day when I was leaving my comment. Looking forward to your response.
