iBusiness Promoter: Helping You To Get Top SE Rankings
Strong search engine rankings are high on the list of any serious online entrepreneur yet many don’t have the first idea how to achieve these. They may have a great site with a lot to offer but no idea how to promote it properly.
Before I start the review, I just wanted to quickly apologize for posting private reviews twice in 2 days, however, the advertisers wanted these reviews out as quickly as possible, and this is the only way we could have fitted things in.
The review we are doing today is of a company called iBusinessPromoter and what they specialize in is helping those site owners who may not know much about SEO, but who like to handle things themselves.
iBusiness Promoter

iBusiness Promoter claims that they can get you a Top 10 ranking for your site if you follow their plan. I am typically kind of leery of sites that make these type of claims as they often don’t offer much for substance.
iBusiness has enough confidence in their plan that they are willing to offer you a money back guarantee if they fail to deliver. That’s pretty strong and encouraged me to look a little deeper.
What they offer is a step by step guide that gives you tasks to complete and tools to help you complete those tasks. Each task is a key ingredient in obtaining strong rankings, and in order to succeed you need to follow the complete plan as each piece works together.
I like what I see so far but let’s break it down a little more.
The iBusiness Plan

The plan that they lay out for you is quite thorough and detailed but not so much that an average person couldn’t follow it quite easily. It encompasses all of the basic SEO cornerstones and explains the process every step of the way.
This review will not be able to cover the entire plan in detail as it would take several pages, but I will hit the basics and and then you can find all the detail you would like on their website.
They start by analyzing your site to find a starting point and to find out what keywords you want to optimize your site around. Once this is done they then lay out a step by step guideline for you to follow. The plan will include everything below and then some.
- Keywords - Analyzing and finding your desired keywords. They provide keyword tools for you to utilize to identify highly searched keywords as well as what keywords your competition is using.
- Optimization - They then prompt you to optimize a number of your pages for the desired keywords. They provide you information on how to optimize and what to do step by step, and you can check your progress as you go along.
- Link Building - Any good SEO will tell you that link building is critical to your success. iBusiness provides a cool “link finder” tool that allows you to find sites that are related to your keywords. They also provide an interface that will allow you to set up a link exchange or submit your links depending on the site.
- Search Engine Submissions - The next step in the process is to submit your site to the various search engines. They again provide an interface that makes this as painless and easy as possible. You can select which search engines you want to submit to and they provide an automatic feature that will execute the task. Cool.
- Rank Checker - Nothing is more frustrating than doing all this work and not being able to measure your progress. iBusiness provides another interface that allows you to measure your progress and check your keyword rankings daily if you choose.
- Tool Box- The last interface they offer is an array of SEO tools including a keyword density analyzer, broken link checker, search engine spider checker, and a host of other tools including some PPC analysis software. I tried to think of anything I might want that they didn’t provide but I could not.
This is a pretty comprehensive set of tools. I must warn you that it looks and sounds easy but you need to understand that depending on the keywords you are trying to optimize for, you may have a LOT of work ahead of you.
The good news is that even though it may take work, the blueprint is right there for you to use. I tried the interface and played around with one of my own sites to get a feel for the interface. They make it easy to take it for a test drive with a demo that showcases some of the basic features of the site.
The demo will give you a good feel for the process and what it encompasses. You should also be aware that they don’t claim that this will be a fast process. If you follow their directions exactly it still will likely take at least 90 days to achieve the top 10 ranking they promise.
This is another plus in my eyes because no matter how good your SEO is, it takes time to get the engines to recognize your efforts and I am glad that they admit this.
Pricing
Most top-quality software these days doesn’t come without a price tag. This case is no different with iBusiness Promoter, however, there are different licenses to suit your own tastes. Most of you will be managing your own sites, and thus the IBP Standard download should be perfect.
The whole thing costs only 249.95 Euros, which works out to be around $400. Some may argue that this is quite a hefty price tag, but some Search Engine consultants might charge $400 per hour! iBusiness also comes with a 30 day money back guarantee for your peace of mind.
Conclusion
If you are serious about your SEO and ranking well but don’t have any idea how to do it then this may be just the tool for you. I am convinced after following the demo instructions and playing with the interface that even a novice blogger would be able to use this software.
As I said earlier I am not a big fan of SEO packages or experts that claim they can guarantee you any ranking but at least iBusiness Promoter puts their money where their mouth is. If they fail to deliver on their promise then you get your money back. That’s not bad.
I would feel better if they could point us to a top 10 ranking for their own website but I didn’t find any keywords in their source code to look up. They might very well rank great for their keywords but without being able to check I don’t know.
I think this would offer them a TON of credibility with potential customers. If they can get their own site to rank top 10 in the cut throat category that they are in then they can surely do it for you. It’s your call and I still think it is a quality product but I know I always feel better about something that is proven to work.
You always have the money back guarantee as the safety net which should make you feel better.

I’m also pretty skeptical of guarantees to be in the top ten. Does that mean you’ll be in the top 10 for an extremely competitive term, or in the top 10 for your own business name? Two very different things, but most companies don’t give any indication on this issue. Sounds like there are some useful tools here.
I’ve read on many blogs, that if an SEO firm can get you top ranking guaranteed then this is not a good firm to deal with.
I have no problem with people setting their goals high, but customers should be aware that no SEO firm can guarantee you a certain ranking.
A target is to get high in the search as possible.
@SEO- normally I agree with you, however with the money back guarantee then you have nothing to lose.
That’s a pretty strong statement on their part. I don’t think many of these “guaranteed” ranking firms offer this.
I may be wrong though.
Looks interesting. I think it holds some truth, and it could work if it’s step-by-step is followed exactly…. and if the industry isn’t inundated with competition for the same words.
Well, I think SEO is always about taking particular steps, using the right keywords and building links - and if you do it, you will do well - depends on how much effort and time you put into it.
Therefore I believe that SEO training is a good thing to do because it gives people the independence to do it all themselves so that they don’t need to pay anyone else in the future.
Looks interesting, I am going to look into this further. Thanks
@Steven: Of course, we don’t guarantee top 10 rankings just for your business name. In fact, you can choose any keyword or phrase you want.
@SEO Lincolnshire: Actually, you’re right that noone can guarantee a top 10 ranking except for the some Google engineers.
However, we are so convinced that iBusinessPromoter works that we’re willing to give you your money back if the top 10 ranking does not happen.
Some notes (if it’s too much advertising, just remove the comment but I think it explains some things):
1. We’re in business since 1997 - that’s more than ten years. We did not offer the money back guarantee since February this year because that’s when we released the new version 10 of iBusinessPromoter.
2. We have sent Blogtrepreneur a collection of some of our own top 10 rankings.
3. In almost every issue of our free weekly search engine newsletter we publish testimonials from satisfied customers who obtained top 10 rankings with the help of iBusinessPromoter (with the actual name and website address).
Hi Axandra
About your Money-Back-Guarantee - I see that this is a 30 Day guarantee.
How many people will get into a top 10 position for the average keyword in 30 days? Is’nt that a bit short?
Maybe you are just offering this guarantee because you know that even if you take it seriously it would take you, on average, longer than that and thus there is no real danger of clients claiming their money back?
Hey guys. Sorry to chime in a bit late on this. Here are the rankings that iBusinessPromoter themselves managed to achieve for those who are a bit wary of “SEO Companies” in general - some impressive rankings in there I’ve gotta say!
Here are some examples:

-> position 3 and 4

@Ben: We have 2 money back guarantees.
The first one is the usual 30 day money back guarantee - no questions asked.
The second guarantee is the top 10 ranking guarantee which is valid for one whole year after your purchase. Both guarantees give you your money back.
It’s nice to see such an honesty review and not one that’s full of hype. Thanks for the examples.. I agree, they look impressive.
The one thing I think website owners should look out for when it comes to SEO and ranking for keywords, is not to be overly swayed by how many search results there are for their keyword phrase, but how many searches are made for those keywords and how many back links the competition has.
No point in ranking well for keywords that don’t get searched, or the competition is so strong it would break the bank to compete.
Hi Axandra
Now that is a unique guarantee that sets your product appart!
Good review, but have you noticed your rankings improving yet using this program?
@Axandra: Thanks for clarifying the answer to Ben’s question.
I’ve taken a look at your program and it seems to be top rate! Sign me up. (Actually, I’ve just signed up already.)
After having been at this (internet marketing) for only a little while, I have no doubt that your methods will work for anyone who is willing to take action and follow through. I’ve already had some impressive results with a few of my own SEO actions, so your guarantee of a top 10 listing in Google is not all that impossible to achieve, even for relative newbies like myself.
Also, I can see that you will probably have few people returning to you for a refund after one year! Ranking in the top ten at Google is not that hard to do once you begin doing what is necessary. All that makes for a winner of a product with a great company!
Looks good, but does it work for google.pt? (Portugal)
@Paulo: iBusinessPromoter works with Google Portugal and all other North/South American and European countries.
I wouldn’t normally try this sort of expert “tool” but the money back guarantee gives a bit of comfort….assuming they don’t have a history of making excuses not to refund?
@Wii Boy: We promptly issue refunds. We’re in business since 1997.
I have had this product on the free trial, for a few weeks and are really impressed with the comprehensive tools on offer.
Shame that some of the more interesting report information is not available in the “trial” download, but I will be upgrading to the Pro version
hi Axandra and all other readers,
I’m looking for a dutch manual from IBP. Because i’m not so good in english I don’t succeed with the IBP-manual.
In case that a dutch manual doesn’t excist, a step by step (with images) would also help me.
Thx for your help
Wesley
I have been using PPC bidmax of Apexpromotion.com for 2 years. Recently I received an email from APEX marketing team, they told me they has rated IBP software to be the best 3 seo software in 2009, and highly recommanded it for search engine organic rankings. They also banned some of seo software and provide detailed reasons in the email, and compare all the popular seo software like SEO Suite,SEO Elite,IBP, All-in-One, WebCEO,SEO Studio and Webposition. Here is the link:
http://www.apexpromotion.com/ad/banned_seo_software.htm
In a word, I love IBP software and I trust it.
I am currently using iBusiness Promoter on our PackshotCreator website, and I can definitely say that it is very helpful, especially to novices. However, the software is a bit expensive, and that is the only thing that is currently preventing us from buying the full version (after all, we are currently in a recession).
Ive read alot about this and still to this day have not found one complaint. usally there are tons. I think you can sign me up as well. For what i sell there is alot of competition out there and i need all the help i cant get. Beats paying the thousands the othere guys want.
