Do any of you buy/sell domains? What have been some of your latest domain purchases or sales?

I’m curious what happened with DebtSolutions.com. Did it not hit the reserve? There seem to be some of the domains listed that are missing from this list.
Pretty cool looking at what some of these domain names sold for, some look a bit overpriced but some look just right =D
Till then,
Jean
The first clue is that the glossy pets mag’s website apparently has been allowed to expire and is registered to another company. The site (Thenydog.com) appears now, run over with generic pets text-ads and an annoying popup window.
A whois search on the domain name shows that “thenydog.com” was registered to a company called Simply Named on June 18. So it hasn’t belonged to the actual magazine for almost two months now!
If only I had started registering some domains sooner…..absolutely mind blowing to say the least.
I’d have to say the deal of the list has to be Whiskey.com. I’m sure during other times the owner would have expected something above 500K for that name. I do believe that vodka sold for something close to 1 million.
someone made lot’s of money! all i want to say is does anyone know the person who bought DumbAsses.com for $3,500??
Wow, domain can be more value than house
Very interesting lists!
Well well, I would have expected that a domain like “whiskey” would get much higher bids…. after all “vodka” sold for $3 millions… any idea why such a huge difference? I think nobody really gets domain pricing right these days…
Wow, never would have thought that the domain can cost $ 450,000 .. interesting post, it is necessary to go more often to you …
Was rio.com bought by the Rio in Las Vegas?
Could you imagine what it would be like having a domain like Twiter.com, or somthing. My dad owns the domain to the number 1 insulation company in the united states. Well just the name but whatever
A very interesting list indeed. I was actually surprised at how low some of the domains sold for: antidepresants.net for example. With all the zoloft and xanax marketing spamming our systems, I’m surprised it was only bought for $2000.
Domains can be valuable real-estate, but I personally prefer purchasing and flipping microniche websites that are already on the cusp of producing something big. A great site is flippa for that sort of thing.
