Blogtrepreneur 2.0 – The Newly Re-launched Playground for Business Leaders & Aspiring Entrepreneurs.

Welcome! If you like the look of the new design of Blogtrepreneur then please tell your friends and tweet about the re-launch by Clicking here – your followers will thank you when they see what we have in store.

    Luke Etheridge

    Hi Guys,

My name is Luke Etheridge and I am the ‘new recruit’ on the Blogtrepreneur team – I am a self-taught graphic designer and internet marketer who has been brought on-board to develop and manage the new Blogtrepreneur as well as re-vamp it with some fresh ideas and innovative design.

Over the past three months I have poured my heart and soul into the re-launch of Blogtrepreneur and I am proud to present the outcome: Blogtrepreneur 2.0 – a brand new version of the already acclaimed Blogtrepreneur, bringing it to the forefront of blogging with a new cutting-edge design and a variety of interesting and insightful content.

The basic outline of Blogtrepreneur 2.0 comes from the ‘Busy Bee’ theme over at WooThemes and has been customized and branded to fit in with the new look – head over to WooThemes today to get three themes from just $70. WooThemes come highly recommended from me because they are simply the best theme designers I have ever found – with WooThemes you can have a highly professional looking blog up and running in no time, giving you more time to focus on making money!

Along with brothers Adam and Matthew Toren, as a team we aim to continue to supply you with the same value as ever, but with that added extra. Being a fan of Blogtrepreneur has allowed me to provide the ‘readers perspective’ when drawing up plans and ideas of how we can take Blogtrepreneur that step further in Winter 2010/2011 – really taking it to the next level and giving the readers what they deserve.

I also recognize that Blogtrepreneur is not just a website, but it is a community of aspiring entrepreneurs and a place for like-minded opportunists to connect and network.

Over the coming months I will be intending to provide you with more interviews – putting successful entrepreneurs in the spotlight. Allowing you to delve into the minds of the people who have managed to take a rare opportunity and apply relentless focus to generate huge amounts of wealth and success. Interviews are great for inspiration and a great way to provide our readers with that boost of enthusiasm to succeed in whatever you wish to do.

Ultimately our goal is to ‘Inspire’ and help those achieve their goals, no matter how far-fetched they may seem – would Mark Zuckerberg be as successful as he is today if he hadn’t followed through with what was once, a very small idea? Anyone can be the next Zuckerberg, Branson or Trump – you just need to be determined to succeed and achieve your goals no matter how un-realistic they may seem at first glimpse.

Here is a great quote from Joseph Cossman, the author of ‘How I Made Millions In Mail Order’:

“Obstacles are things a person sees when he takes his eyes off his goal.”

We intend to conjure up an entrepreneurial spirit within all of our readers, allowing them to realise that nothing is impossible – the invention of the internet alone has allowed so many ‘ordinary’ people to go from working on the counter at the gas station to building multi-million dollar empires which is why Internet Marketing and Online Business will always be a major element of our teachings at Blogtrepreneur.

As well as the content, you may have also realized that we have included way more pages of help and information. On that note I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the elements which are put together to make Blogtrepreneur 2.0 to further your understanding of our intentions.

Home Page (Click here to view)

The new home page is basically a base if you like, or a starting point when browsing Blogtrepreneur. With usability in mind when designing it, we believe it helps the reader to have a complete overview of the whole site before choosing which section to visit. Under the ‘free eBook’ form there are three new sections with the first being ‘About Us’ – a brief outline of the partners which make up the team here at Blogtrepreneur.

The next is a ‘Latests Posts’ feature and was a personal request from founder Adam Toren – he liked the idea of users being able to see 5 of our latest posts from the Entrepreneur Blog along with the post images. This will allow readers to quickly and easily check if the blog has been updated since their last visit.

After that we have the ‘Start Making Money Online’ section which is a summary of our ‘Resources’ page including what we believe to be the vital products and services needed to start your own profitable blog or website. Under this is the ‘Featured Interviews’ section which is soon to be updated more regularly than ever – once we find our feet with the new platform we will be looking to boost this particular section of Blogtrepreneur.

Entrepreneur Blog (Click here to view)

So this is basically what would be your typical blog home page and is very similar to the old home page on Blogtrepreneur. This page plays a part as the main blog page and is a summary of all of the latest posts within the ‘Entrepreneur Blog’ – if you cannot find what you are looking for on this page then do not worry because we have also kept the ‘Archives’ page for you to look through, alternatively you can use the ‘Search The Blog’ widget in the sidebar.

    * * * *

‘Start Making Money Online’ Page (Click here to view)

This is one of the most important and prominent advances within Blogtrepreneur 2.0 – The ‘Start Making Money Online’ page is a comparison page allowing you to compare all of the options available to you before you set off to create your very own profitable blog. Our thinking behind this is that it can be very hard for someone just starting out to find the right products and services which offer the most value for money.

Let’s face it, when you are new to Internet Marketing or Blogging you will usually just go for the first service that you find, never really knowing whether it is the best choice for your long-term intentions and goals. For example if you are looking to host a one-page website to display a sales page you may end up paying loads of money for expensive hosting when all you really needed was the cheapest hosting available.

This comparison page will allow you to completely evaluate your options with a completely fresh outlook of what there is available to you – along with pricing we also compare the many features of each product or service allowing you to develop a complete understanding of what you will be paying for.

‘Resources’ Page (Click here to view)

Most blogs have one…but they’re never as big as this!

We have taken the typical blog’s tools and resources page and turned it into a bible of information for aspiring online marketers. I must admit that throughout my years of blogging and studying other successful blogs, that I have never seen a resources page this large. We basically decided that if we were going to have a tools and resources page then it’s better to ‘go to town’ and over-deliver on content than having a page which leaves the visitor with unanswered questions.

Within this page we have provide you with lots of products to help you succeed with internet marketing and we believe that we have left no stone un-turned. As well as giving you various options under each sub-heading, we also personally recommend products by choosing one product under each heading which we believe is the best choice for you and provides you with the best value for money.

I think that this page is the perfect compliment to our blog and we are certain that you will too – take your time in going through each and every sub-heading using the ‘easy navigation’ box at the top of the page – we have provided you with as much information as possible on each product so that you can assess your options and make a purchase which is right for you.

Free eBook Page (Click here to view)

Along with a brand new blog comes a brand new eBook! The reality is that we couldn’t re-design Blogtrepreneur with completely new branding from head to toe and leave the free eBook as it is. The content has stayed the same to a certain extent but our popular “The Difinitive 5 Step Guide…” eBook has been completely re-designed and re-branded also – which we are very excited about! The new design is smart and fresh and helps towards a much better user-experience as it is now much easier to read and digest.

In addition to the existing content there is also a little added help within the book – we have included a tools and resources section which acts as a “fast-track” guide to starting your own money making blog where we reveal all of the tools we have used to create and run this very blog (click here for more). Instead of just advertising the eBook the traditional way of a web form in the sidebar we have also created a stand-alone free eBook sales page so that our satisfied readers can show their appreciation by spreading the word and telling their friends.

As well as our free eBook every subscriber will now recieve our BRAND NEW ‘Internet Marketing Guide’ 6 week eCourse written by yours truly! We are very excited to incorporate a new eCourse as a bonus to our already successful eBook because it gives our readers and subscribers much more material to get them started. Here at Blogtrepreneur, we aim to give every visitor that much-needed helping hand for starting a profitable online business and within our eCourse we explain every element of Internet Marketing from head to toe.

The beauty of this eCourse is that in just 6 weeks you will be able to start your very own online business, knowing exactly where to start and which tools to use. It would take your typical newbie at least a year and a lot of trial and error to learn all of the information that we reveal in our eCourse so make sure you grab a copy, after all….It’s FREE!

    * * * *

Alongside the pages above we have also re-designed the existing ‘About Us’, ‘Advertise With Us’ and ‘Contact Us’ pages. You will also notice that the blog’s sidebar has received sufficient development in the way that it now plays a major part in the navigation of the site. There is nothing worse than not being able to find what you are looking for so we have included a ‘featured interviews’ and ‘search the blog’ widget in the sidebar.

I hope you have enjoyed this introductory post and your miniature tour around Blogtrepreneur 2.0. I would personally like to thank you for taking the time to read this post and I would love to hear what you think of the re-launch and new design in the comments section below.

I look forward to connecting with some of you here on Blogtrepreneur in the near future and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me using the form on the ‘Contact Us’ page. Find out more about me here.

I wish you all great success with your endeavours and aspirations and on behalf of the Blogtrepreneur team, thank you for your support!

    Warmly,

    Luke Etheridge

I’ll admit, your new site looks good, and there is sooo much to look at. . . but I LOVED your old one! In fact, I wanted to model my site after yours. I guess that’s what happens when you put off a site re-model too long, now I have to figure out something else!

Honest, I absolutely loved your old site, and told several people about your site and used it as an example in several “coachings”.

You’ll have to let me know if the change increased your traffic, Alexa rating (currently 49,842) and most of all your income. Your readers want to know, right?

      Oh well….that’s life online.

        Hi Deb,

Wow thank you for the kind words!! – much appreciated.

I think we felt that it was just tiime to expand the old site and offer much more value to our readers ;)

We are glad you liked the old site but we are looking to drastically improve our readership, subscribers and or course our Alexa ranking with the new brand.

I think it’s a little too early to really analyze it’s performance but our list has certainly benefitted from the re-launch which is great!

Check in with us in the future to see how it’s performing – and if that’s what you want we could always do a post in the next few months which reports the change in performance since the revamp.

        Thanks again,

        Luke

I have to say, I absolutely LOVE the redesign. Congratulations Luke on a great job, and also a big Hello – it’s awesome that you’re joining Adam and Matthew and I wish you guys all the success.

To think that this was a very small site on a Blogger account back in February 2006!…I’m really proud of what this has become and here’s to bigger and better things.

And if you’re ever in London, Luke, let’s meet up.

      Adnan

        Adnan!

Great to hear from you bro! – Yes I would love to meet you in London sometime…I live in Guildford (like 20 miles away from central london – 30 min train journey).

I’m really glad you like what we have just done with Blogtrepreneur – it’s taken a little while and a lot of thought and planning so it’s nice to have some positive feedback for all of the hard work ;)

Wow – a Blogger account…it’s come a long way since then!

Yes it’s great working with Adam and Matthew – I think as a team we will drive Blogtrepreneur onwards and upwards.

Thanks again Adnan and it’s nice to “meet” you.

That’s great, not too far away then. My family actually live in Surrey (which is where I am now for Uni half-term) – so that’s even closer! But yes do give me a shout if you’re in London and have a spare hour and we’ll grab a coffee.

Look forward to seeing the growth of Blogtrepreneur…keep in touch!

I really like the layout and design of your website. Copper finish is really awesome

      • Luke Etheridge November 9, 2010 at 11:37 am #

        Tech Funky,

Thank you for your comments on the design! – The copper effect was exactly what I was going for, I find it creates a professional vibe about a site.

There is no doubt that good graphics can benefit your site and it’s readers a great deal!

        Thanks for your comment buddy!
