Young entrepreneurs under the age of 30 are more prevalent than you’d think. Keep an eye out for these names this year.
1) Dave Hale, 24
Hale is the founder and CEO of Soshal Group, a digital, social media and mobile agency.
2) Marta Tryshak, 24
Marta Tryshak is the creator and editor of www.withlovegabrielle.com, a fashion and lifestyle blog.
3) Erin Bury, 27
Erin Bury, the former face of Sprouter, is now the managing editor for BetaKit, an online publication that strives to provide original, real-time reporting.
4) Ben Lang, 18
Lang began his entrepreneurial efforts at the age of 15. He now heads up EpicLaunch and MySchoolHelp.
5) Jacob Cass, 25
Jacob Cass currently works with Ammirati and is the founder of JUST Creative, his personal graphic design website.
6) Yael Cohen, 25
After her mother was diagnosed with cancer, Cohen started a website and product like called “F*** Cancer”. It became widely popular and continues to grow.
7) Sophia Amoruso, 29
Sophia Amoruso is the founder of NastyGal, a fashion line with humble beginnings that is quickly taking over.
8) Bamidele Onibalusi, 18
Onibalusi is a fairly popular name with young entrepreneurs. He’s the founder of YoungPrePro and has been writing since his early teens.
9) Todd Hunter, 29
Todd Hunter, CEO of CAA Marketing, has published quite a few popular works including videos for Coca-Cola and Chipotle. Expect to see him more often.
10) David Karp, 26
It goes without saying that the founder of Tumblr will continue to be a frequently seen name.

Josh Miller is only 22 and the CEO of Branch, a social media site designed to help people communicate around specific topics.
13) Jonas Falk, 28
Falk created OrganicLife, a leading provider of healthy lunches and catering.
14) Danielle Fong, 25
Fong is the co-founder of LightSail Energy, a compressed air energy storage system.
15) Josh Sommer, 24
After being diagnosed, Sommer founded Chordoma Foundation due to lack of research available. The foundation now assists in over 11 different labs fighting to find treatment and a cure.
16) Christopher Walton, 27
Walton is the Senior Broadcast Buyer at Media Experts, a go-to source for media buying and planning.
17) Ryan Bannon, 27
Ryan Bannon is the Creative Director and Managing Partner for Playground, Inc. They will be reopening with a whole new look this spring.
18) Susan Gregg Koger and Eric Koger, both 28
What originally began as selling vintage clothes from their house has now grown to a multi-million dollar vintage clothes online store called ModCloth.
19) Pete Cashmore, 27
Cashmore is the creator of Mashable, a social media news site that has skyrocketed over the past two years.
20) Lily Liu, 29
Lily Liu is the creator of an ingenious company called PublicStuff. If you notice potholes, broken signs, graffiti, etc while you’re out, simply snap a photo and they’ll submit the issue to the proper department in your area.
21) Chuck Cohn, 26
Cohn started Varsity Tutors as a tutor classifieds which has since quickly become a highly elite private tutoring and test prep junction.
22) Pep Gomez, 19
Pep Gomez is the creator of Fever Up, a mobile app “city guide” designed to keep you up to date with events and locations that would be of interest to you.
23) Trace Cohen, 24
Trace Cohen created Launch.It (currently in beta). This is a professional self-publishing and brand engagement news platform.
24) Nikki Robinson, 27
Nikki Robinson, founder of Gloss and Glam, is a makeup artist herself. Her company does hair and makeup on location. So far she’s worked with everyone from Britney Spears to the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
25) Lauren Mcleod, 27
Lauren Mclead is the creator and CEO of FlightFox, a go-to resource for finding cheap flights. Rather than using computers, you hire real people to find you the best deals possible.
26) Nanxi Liu, 22
Nanxi Liu founded Nanoly Bioscience while still in college. Nanoly Bioscience strives to develop a better way to deliver vaccines to women and children around the world.
27) Katie Shea and Susie Levitt, both 25
This dynamic duo founded FUNK-tional Enterprises, a footwear and accessory store for women.
28) Indhira Santana, 27
Santana created and opened a one-of-a-kind holistic health spa located in New York. Plans to create other locations are in the works.
29) Nina Cherny and Jenny Wu, 29 and 28
Cherny and Wu took the idea of wishing you could play fashion designer and turned it into a reality. Stylyt allows you to design an idea, submit it for voting and sell it if you’re chosen.
30) Amit Avner, 26
Amit Avner is the Taykey co-founder and CEO. Taykey is a topical advertising platform that takes subjects specific to your audience and aligns them with your brand.
