The University of Gloucestershire

The University of Gloucestershire is a medium-sized university with over 160 years of history, based on four main campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester. The university offers an extensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate masters and PhD degrees. All the courses achieved the highest rating in the last teaching quality assessment and several areas were highlighted as examples of good practice.

With 8,000 students the university is big enough to offer variety and flexibility in courses, yet small enough that you can expect a friendly atmosphere and a very personal level of support. On-campus accommodation, free bus services, free orientation programme and dedicated international student support services are there to make your transition to studying in the UK as easy as possible.

In fact, the Times Higher Education Supplement League Table on Overall Student Experience placed the University of Gloucestershire in the top three of all the ‘new universities’ in December 2007, and 12th of all UK universities for Overall Quality of Life in March 2008.
