2. The North Face Surge 2 Laptop Backpack

The North Face is another company known for creating high-quality backpacks in many different designs. The Surge 2 Laptop Backpack is a great option for many reasons.

This backpack comes with a padded laptop compartment that will fit up to a 16.25” laptop.  It also features The North Face’s patented AirMesh back and FlexVent shoulder straps that ensure you’ll barely notice it’s even on your back.

There are also many different pockets to store all your things and a large main compartment for books, files or anything else you might need to carry to class or work.

If you’re looking for a laptop backpack for women this is also a great choice because there is a woman-specific version available.

There are many different color options available for this backpack meaning that it’s likely you’ll be able to find one that suits your style and needs.

3. TLS Workstation Laptop Backpack

This is a larger backpack than The North Face or the Swissgear backpack so it’s great for people who need more space to carry their laptop and many other items as well. It should fit most 17” laptops.

Despite this backpack being larger, it’s comfortable to carry around because of the revolutionary design that distributes the weight more evenly.

This computer backpack also has a padded laptop compartment that can be locked for even more security. It also has a feature that allows you to stack it on top of a suitcase which makes traveling with it much easier than an ordinary backpack.

This backpack doesn’t have as many pockets all over the outside like other backpacks we’ve reviewed, but inside there is an organizer compartment that can be used to store everything from keys to pens and anything else.

The styling of this backpack is definitely more conservative which probably appeals more to the working professional crowd than students. It also comes in a variety of colors.

This backpack retails for $150, but depending on the color can be found online today for as little as $59.99.

4. High Sierra Powerglide Rolling Laptop Bag

Our final backpack is from High Sierra. This backpack is different from the other backpacks we have reviewed because it can function as a backpack or a rolling laptop bag. Its wheels and extendable handle makes it possible to roll the bag if you’re feeling too tired to carry it on your back or simply don’t want to carry the backpack.

This backpack will fit most 17” laptops easily in its padded computer sleeve. There is also a large multi compartment design which includes a premium organizer to keep everything organized and in its place.

This backpack is really great because of its ability to be wheeled around. Unfortunately, it’s nearly twice as heavy as any of the other backpacks reviewed at 6 pounds 12 ounces, but it’s unlikely the extra weight will be noticed since the backpack really doesn’t need to be worn on the shoulders.

It’s a great option for someone looking for the versatility of backpack and the ease and comfort of a rolling laptop bag. I highly recommend that you check one out today!

This backpack retails for $140, but can be found for roughly $74 online. It comes in black, red and blue.
